I advocate that "Golf is not its Rules" as too often it is said.
I advocate that Rules must be the servants of Golf and of Golfers, furthermore, never should have happened that Golfers were servant of the Rules, also because it was not possible. Golfers will never revolt like Spartacus, more simply, they will ignore them as most of them ever did, certainly not with the intensity assumed since year 2000.
I advocate that ONE Rule, ONE hole, ONE ball, ONE golf club are enough to play at Golf and that a one single Rule creates an easier Golf, fast and fair as never had been possible. I included a section where play is governed only by Rule 1.
I advocate that a false taboo like "the ball must be played as it lies" condemned generations of Golfer to play unplayable balls for half the time, depriving them of the pleasure of a fair challenge with the ball.
I created THREE RULES ONLY. Only three, more than enough to regulate all contingencies that may happen on a golf course. The key that made it possible had been the not openly expressed TOLERANCE in the measures and in the interpretations with the addition of the RESPONSIBLE LIBERALISATION of player's behaviours.
I do not measure the centimetre when the reference is the meter, I do not distinguish between fixed objects, I do not differentiate the causes that made a ball unavailable for play, I do not enquire player's intentions, etc.
