SCATTERED GOLF

Where there are golfers by the millions there are thousands of golf courses: USA 15 thousands golf courses and 25 golfers' millions, 2.500 golf courses in Great Britain and 1.5 golfers' millions.

Who was born first: golf courses or golfers? It is not the chicken-and-egg dilemma; it is the fundamental question to understand HOW they did it.

First of all, it is necessary to create the need for golf because it will never be possible to arise the people's curiosity for Golf through the Golf Clubs or Practice Ranges only. It is a fact: WALKING THE GOLF COURSE, TRYING TO HIT THAT UNCOOPERATIVE BALL LYING ON THE FAIRWAY, these are the things that hook forever the curious people who tried it for once.

Playing golf is not a primary need, it is necessary to make it arise through curiosity that is a very fragile sentiment easily subsided by difficulties or excessive initial economic costs.

Excluding the Nations where Golfers are by the millions, all the rest of the world have too scattered golf courses and too very few golfers, but shortage of golfers will never let a new golf course to be born, so we are back to square one.

I think to have found a way to interrupt that vicious circle: SCATTERED GOLF©. Few golf holes, if not a single golf hole, built near a small village in the middle of nowhere it becomes a very strong magnet for non-golfers and it will happen, for sure, that somebody, just out of curiosity, will try it with a friend. THIS IS THE REAL POINT: HE WILL TRY TO PLAY throwing, lunching, hitting at that cursed ball in the hope to properly catch it sooner or later. He is not confined on a practice range where he is taught a motion of which nobody tells him the real purpose.

This can become the factory of new golfers that later on will look for a proper golf course.

My opinion is that such a golf course should be financed by the Golf Authorities; one single scattered golf hole could generate tens of new golfers.

Planting seeds is much more economic than having to buy the final product. A SCATTERED GOLF HOLE is organized in a way that each shot can be measured down to the meter.

On a SCATTERED GOLF HOLE it is possible to play ninety-three different golf holes
